Teije TerhorstHead of New Business

Teije is Head of New Business at Waag. He is responsible for the development and realisation of relevant new research projects. To this end, he leads Waag's team of project developers. Teije aims to enable research that contributes to a just and sustainable society.

 

Previously, Teije worked at a large municipality building programmes on inclusive digital education. He received his bachelor's degree in Media Studies and a master's degree in Political Theory from the University of Amsterdam. In addition to his work at Waag, Teije is a board member at Voedselpark Amsterdam, a grassroots initiative aiming at regenerative urban agriculture in Amsterdam.
